PRINT QUERY

Use PRINT QUERY to view a log of your recent PRINT and PRINT CANCEL commands. The log will show only the commands entered on the section of the computer to which you are currently connected.

The PRINT QUERY display lists up to 60 lines representing approximately your 30 most recent PRINT transactions. As new PRINT or PRINT CANCEL commands are entered, the oldest commands are deleted from the list. The list can include transactions from previous search sessions and previous days.

You can enter the PRINT QUERY command in any database; you do not need to BEGIN in the database in which the prints were ordered.

• To view your log of PRINT requests and cancellations:

Three options are available for use with the PRINT QUERY command:

PRINT QUERY ACTIVE

PRINT QUERY ACTIVE displays the log of active PRINT requests (i.e., those that can still be CANCELed) in the computer section to which you are currently connected.

• To view your log of PRINT requests that can still be cancelled:

?print query active

PRINT QUERY DETAIL

When you add DETAIL to the PRINT QUERY command, the date, time, file, and cost of each PRINT transaction are included in the log.
