SHOW PREFERENCES

The SHOW PREFERENCES command displays the Preferences settings for the active Searcher or Project and Client.

The Preference options correspond to the following SET commands:

System defaults for the Preference settings are:

• Subaccount: None
• Show Cost Esimate: On
• Hilight: On
• Select: Short
• Detail: Off
• Postings: Off
• H: 75
• KWIC: 30
• Notice: Off
• Connect: DialUnit Not Locked

Preferences may be specified at the system, Searcher, and Project and Client level. If at the Project and Client level, no Preferences have been set, those set at the Searcher level are used. If at the Searcher level, no Preferences have been set, the system defaults are used.

The SET SUBACCOUNT<name> command may be entered at any time to assign or change subaccount information for the current search session. Subaccount information entered using the command takes precedence over system, Searcher, and Project and Client level subaccount information and remains in effect until you log off or enter a new SET SUBACCOUNT command.
