New Engineering Research Training Classes

Need to search for technical literature, find an author's article or look for a conference paper? Two new Web-based engineering sessions will show you how to get the information you need.

• Introduction to Searching Engineering Information Featuring DialogLink 5 provides an introduction to the basic commands, techniques and databases containing engineering content, including the CSA files. Commands and techniques are illustrated in the context of four sample engineering applications. Practice exercises are included. This session is being offered during November and December as follows:

• Introduction to Searching Engineering Information Featuring DataStarWeb covers databases and techniques to search technical literature using DataStarWeb. Five applications are designed to teach certain basic search skills and are presented in the context of a search for information of interest to engineering searchers. Practice exercises are included.
