Using the History Tab on DialogClassic Web

The History Tab saves your search sessions including all search commands for future use. Here's how it works:

1. A list of your search sessions displays in the Sessions pane from the History Tab, grouped by date and BEGIN command. Click the + sign before a session to see the search commands for that session.

2. Commands for the search display in the Commands pane. Check the commands you want to run and click the “Send to Buffer” button.

3. The commands will display in the Type-Ahead buffer. Click <Enter>; the search is automatically run and the output displays in the Output buffer.

On-Demand Online Courses:
Learn Dialog at Your Own Pace

Did you know that Dialog has a new training offering for 2007?
Try On-Demand Recorded Online Courses. These self-contained presentations, approximately 1.5 hours in length, teach you Dialog command language on DialogLink® 5 or DialogWeb at your own pace and at the time that most conveniently fits your schedule. You can also use the course to refresh your search skills.

Using a series of slides and audio, each course lets you pause, backup or skip to the next or previous slides so that you can control the pace of the course. Don’t worry if you can’t finish in one session; just return to the course and click the slide where you left off.

New On-Demand sessions will be added in 2007: Coming soon: DialogClassic Web On Demand. Check the On-Demand sessions site often for current offerings.
