Find Relevant Trademarks by Searching Color or a Combination of Colors?

TOPIC: Claims can be made to color in trademark records. Colors are often referred to in the Claims (CM=), Disclaimers (DM=) and Design Phrase (PH=) portions of a record. In this example, you will be searching for the colors—red, white and blue—as part of the trademark.

You will search the U.S. Federal trademark file. TRADEMARKSCAN—U.S. Federal (File 226) covers all active, registered trademarks and service marks and applications for registrations filed for marks used or intended to be used on every type of product or service that is marketed commercially in the U.S.
