Find All Trademarks Currently Owned by a Specific Owner? TOPIC: Searching for owners of a trademark can take many forms. You may want all owners of a mark (OW=), the last reported owner only (ON=), an owner that has now been assigned a mark (AS=) or an owner as a named company (CO=). Whichever your choice, you can use different prefixes to search for them in some of the trademark files. In this example you want to locate all Federal trademark applications and registrations currently owned by Bristol Myers Squibb. You will search the TRADEMARKSCAN—U.S. Federal (File 226) file, which covers all active, registered trademarks and service marks and applications for registrations filed for marks used or intended to be used on every type of product or service that is marketed commercially in the U.S. Note: When searching for multi-word owner names or names with initials and punctuation, use distinctive parts of the name and connect them with proximity connectors (W) and (N).
