Course Contents

• Lesson 1: Drug Pipeline Directory Basics
  Gives an overview of the drug development process, defines a drug development directory, introduces the data elements common to all drug pipeline directories.
• Lesson 2: IMS R&D Focus (Dialog File 445/955)
  Gives a detailed review of the features and conventions used in the database.
• Lesson 3: Pharmaprojects (Dialog File 128/928)
  Gives a detailed review of the features and conventions used in the database.
• Lesson 4: Adis R&D Insight (Dialog File 107/907)
  Gives a detailed review of the features and conventions used in the database.
• Lesson 5: The Prous Databases: Science Drug Data Report (Dialog File 452), Science Daily Essentials (Dialog File 458/459 Archive), and Science Drugs of the Future^® (Dialog File 453)
  Gives a brief review of the features and conventions used in these databases, which are not as extensive in content (more specialized) than the other, major pipeline directories.
• Lesson 6: Course Wrap Up & Evaluation
  Summarizes the course content, presents a final summary chart the user can print out to consult in the future, offers suggestions for further training opportunities, requests the student complete the evaluation form online.
