Displaying Records (continued)

A good format I can use to preview the content of the record is the KWIC or Keyword in Context format (Format K). This format allows me to see a window of 30 words around my search terms. It gives me more information about the topic so I can tell whether the record is pertinent to my research needs.

To display more of the records, I

  • Click the check boxes next to the records I want to view in a more detailed format or to send via e-mail or postal delivery.

  • Use the drop-down menu under FORMAT to highlight the format I want, in this case, KWIC.

  • Click display selected to view the records in the new format.
