Refining a Search (Part 2) Summary

In Lesson 6 we practiced refining searches using information we gleaned from the Additional Indexes, and we used the EXPAND command to verify names in the Additional Indexes.

We are now able to search for specific information, such as company names, journals, and authors. As a result, we can obtain financial data on companies in directory databases or even look for executives.

The search techniques we have just reviewed in these six lessons will enable us to answer information questions that we might have or even perform some requests for our boss, if we have the time!

If you think you understand the search techniques discussed in the course, go on to Lesson 7, the Course Wrap-up to find out what the next step is.
