To get the most benefit from this course, please follow the following guidelines:
- You must have javascript enabled and configure your browser to allow pop-ups in order to read the search tips, "learn more" links, and the "check yourself" pages.
- Read through each lesson, follow the links, and review the search tips.
- Answer the questions in each lesson to reinforce what you have learned and check your answers by clicking the Check Yourself button:
Check yourself - Use the free ONTAP databases indicated in the lessons to perform your practice searches without incurring any online charges.
Notes: To access the ONTAP databases, you will need to get an ONTAP user number and password. This is NOT the user number and password you use to access Dialog as a subscriber.
ONTAP databases are scaled down versions of the databases and contain only a subset of records from the original files. However, they will give you practice in using the techniques discussed throughout the course. - Please complete the evaluation form at the end of the course.
