Support : Publications : Chronolog Archives : November/December 2004 King's Fund (KFND) Added to Dialog DataStar The King's Fund focuses on improving health and health care, covering policy and management of health and social care services in the United Kingdom rather than clinical issues and treatments. Core subjects include National Health Service (NHS) management, social care, health inequalities, urban health and regeneration, race and health, partnerships, primary care, mental health, public involvement and workforce development in the NHS. The database contains over 75,000 bibliographic records, catalogued using an authoritative thesaurus developed with the United Kingdom Department of Health Library, as part of the Healthcare Management Information Consortium. The library collection is particularly rich in official U.K. health policy documents and in informally published "grey" literature from health and social care organizations. Articles with abstracts, indexed from English-language journals, are included, together with books, reports, pamphlets, Web publications, strategic planning documents and government circulars. Dialog eLinks to fulltext items are included, where available, to subscribers of the publications. |
