New Alerts Feature on Dialog NewsRoom and Dialog Profound

A new feature for Alerts on Dialog NewsRoom and Dialog Profound gives you greater control over when you receive e-mail notification on new relevant market research reports or business news. You can now choose to have your Alerts enabled at all times as usual or you can disable your Alert, for example, if you are on vacation.

How It Works

View Figure 1
See Figure 1.
To temporarily suspend the delivery of your Alerts, select Manage Alerts in the upper right corner of the screen. Check the Alert you want to change. Click the Disable radio button and enter the start and finish dates when you want the Alert disabled. Then click the Change Status button on the Manage Alerts screen. You can also click Edit to modify the Alert status and click Update Alert to set the changes. After your Finish Date, you will automatically begin receiving your Alert again according to the update schedule you originally set.
