Search Tip
Searching the Rotated Trademark Index

A unique feature of the TRADEMARKSCAN® files is the Rotated Trademark Index (TR=), which allows you to search a string of letters as either a whole word, a prefix, a mid-word string, or a suffix. Combining the Rotated Trademark Index with the @ sign lets you further refine your search to retrieve a string of letters as a whole word or suffix only. Remember: You must always use the "?" after the search term when using the TR= prefix, otherwise you will generate zero results.
