The workbook highlights more advanced techniques, such as the use of the DIALINDEX® database, OneSearch® feature, REMOVE DUPLICATES and RANK commands and the Dialog Alert service in applications appropriate for biomedical research.
Prerequisites: The workbook assumes knowledge of basic system commands at the level presented in the Introduction to DialogWeb or Classic Dialog online course.

Introduction to Trademark Searching Using DialogClassic Web™
Search techniques specific to the needs of trademark researchers are presented. Sample searches are shown for: retrieving exact trademarks; finding common variations in marks using the Rotated Index; determining trademark ownership; using classification codes and goods & services data; searching Asian trademarks and monitoring trademark activity. Sample searches are demonstrated using the DialogClassic Web interface.
Prerequisites: The workbook assumes elementary knowledge of basic systems commands gained through hands-on experience using DialogClassic Web, or as presented in the online course Trademark Search Basics on Dialog. A brief review of basic Dialog commands is included.
